Aime Roquesante – Aime Roquesante Rose

A real people pleaser for your seasonal parties, this wine from the Var region of the southeast of France is new to . On the nose there are berry and floral notes, then a light fruit and cream on the palate with a twist of grapefruit at the finish. If it sounds like a cocktail I mean it to! My first Day of Christmas recommendation. I award it 17 points.

About this Vineyard

Made in the foothills of the Massif des Maures in the commune of Vidauban, Aime Roquesante is a classic Provencal rose rooted firmly in the traditions of southern France. The grapes – Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah – thrive on exceptionally free-draining soils under the dry, protective influence of the Mistral wind, and are harvested at night to preserve freshness. Available across both Cotes de Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence, this is a wine that consistently delivers accessible Provencal elegance.
