Co-op (Fairtrade) – Co-op Fairtrade Shiraz Rose
It’s November! We’re saving up for Christmas so if you’re entertaining this month (Bonfire Night?) May I propose this affordable pink from ? It’s also going to give you a al warm feeling inside as it’s from their Fairtrade collection – in this instance produced in Argentina. The pale russet colour is very seasonal and the taste refreshing and slightly nutty. Toffee apple, anyone? I award this wine 16.5 points .

About this Vineyard
The Co-op is the world’s largest seller of Fairtrade wine, a title it has held since launching the world’s first Fairtrade wine. Its own-label Fairtrade range includes wines from Argentina, Chile, South Africa, and Lebanon, with the Co-op’s entire South African wine range converted to Fairtrade. Fairtrade wines account for 15% of the Co-op’s wine sales despite representing just 12.5% of the range — a testament to how much their customers care about ethical sourcing.
