Maison Mirabeau – Maison Mirabeau Rose
Président Macron is here on a state visit- what further excuse do you need to nip to Waitrose and acquire a couple of bottles of this enchanting pink- currently on offer too. From the English owned and always impressive house of Mirabeau it offers delicate berry fruit and and a zippy finish. Why not plan ahead for Bastille Day next Monday? I award this wine 18 points.

About this Vineyard
Founded in 2010 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk from the spare room of their home in the Provencal village of Cotignac, Maison Mirabeau has grown into one of Provence’s most celebrated rose houses, with distribution across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Their 20-hectare Domaine near La Garde-Freinet in the Cotes de Provence sub-region of Notre Dame des Anges is farmed using regenerative and organic practices on distinctive pink sandstone soils — Stephen even co-founded the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation. In early 2026, Chilean wine giant Concha y Toro announced the acquisition of a majority stake, a testament to the global brand the Cronks have built, with Stephen staying on as CEO.
