Les Barrabans – Les Barrabans Rose comme cochon

Just arrived in sunny Northern France- and here at a golf club hotel near St Omer there is just one pink wine on offer- from the lovely Luberon, so I’m not complaining. A taste of Provence as I contemplate our drive south tomorrow – towards the Gironde. Here’s to the open road!

About this Vineyard

Les Barrabans is a Luberon wine label produced by Castel Freres, one of France’s largest wine groups, drawing on vineyards in this beautiful corner of the southern Rhone Valley where the entire appellation sits within the protected Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon. The rose, a blend of Carignan, Cinsault, Syrah, and Grenache, captures the sun-drenched, lavender-scented character of this landscape where over half the wine produced is pink. With Luberon increasingly recognised as a source of elegant, terroir-driven roses, Les Barrabans is a fine ambassador for this underrated appellation.
