La P’tite Pierre (GCF) – La P’tite Pierre Rose
We have just weeks of summer left this year – so let’s make the most of it! Admire some magnificent sunflowers, eat ripe raspberries and find a fun, affordable rosé to match the mood. This one is certainly that- even must agree! A mere £7 a bottle at your local Tesco store, this clever blend is a pretty light apricot colour, with a good dollop of raspberry and strawberry on the nose. It’s only 11% so a great wine for lunchtime or a picnic. I award it 16 points.

About this Vineyard
La P’tite Pierre is one of the newest brands from Les Grands Chais de France, the company founded by Joseph Helfrich in 1979 that has risen to become Europe’s number one wine producer and France’s largest wine exporter. The rose, a Vin de France blend of Grenache and Cinsault, dazzles with its delicate pink hue and vibrant citrus and red berry notes. Named as a tribute to the medieval stone villages of rural France, it is widely available at Tesco, ASDA, and Ocado at a remarkably pocket-friendly price.
