Fleurs de Prairie – Fleurs de Prairie Rose
O, for a beaker full of the warm South- the true, the blushful Hippocrene…. John Keats knew what he was doing, whetting our appetite for southern climes when our own lets us down. If a beaker holds about 187 ml, then I have just the pink wine for you. Blushful, but by no means a blush. Sensual sipping for under £3 and with that smack of sophistication we expect from Provence. Chill this little charmer well and treat yourself. I award it 17 points.

About this Vineyard
Fleurs de Prairie — named after the wildflowers that carpet the vineyards of southern France — is a charming Luberon rose produced by Les Grands Chais de France, one of France’s largest family-owned wine houses. The grapes come from the Luberon, one of the southernmost vineyards in the Rhone Valley, within a UNESCO-recognised Regional Natural Park where vines have flourished since ancient times. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Vermentino, fermented in stainless steel and bottled early to preserve its fresh, strawberry-and-rose-petal character, it is widely available at Tesco and Morrisons.
