Domaine Sainte Lucie (La Fille)

On this day when we celebrate women, I nominate Charlotte (Lolly) Krajewski, the stunningly talented winemaker at in Bordeaux. Her exceptional rosé sets a benchmark for the region (see my post in October 2021) and her innovative approach reflects her family’s international experience. This wine is worthy of a 19 in my new scoring system. Look out for a full review in my online Rosé Report (link in bio). You go girl !

About this Vineyard

Domaine Sainte Lucie has been crafting roses at the foot of the iconic Montagne Sainte-Victoire — beloved by the painter Cezanne — since Michel Fabre founded the estate. Now in the hands of the second generation, led by Aurelien and Virginia Fabre, the domaine has expanded to 45 hectares and completely overhauled its winemaking with modern cellar technology while staying true to sustainable principles. Their MiP (Made in Provence) line, a pale-hued blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache, and Rolle, has become a benchmark for contemporary Provencal rose.
