Laylo – Laylo Rosé
Spring in Provence is incomparable. Almond blossom, mimosa – and the budding of grapevines, ready for the coming season and production of delightful pink wines. Laylo is the creation of a mother and daughter, both named Laura. It’s an enchanting tipple, redolent of summer pudding fruits, with a crisp twist of cranberry. And – it’s available in a box! Forget your prejudices and try this at home, or for your first picnic of the season? It’s the perfect partner for quiche, or the wonderful Provençal equivalent called pissaladière. I award this wine 17.5 points.

About this Vineyard
Laylo was founded in 2020 by Laura Riches, former marketing director of Naked Wines, with the mission of reinventing boxed wine for a new generation. Their signature Luberon Rose is made from 100% Grenache grown in the UNESCO-protected Luberon National Park by mother-and-daughter winemaking team Anne-Marie and Camille Bagnis, who restored an 18th-century chateau and nursed its vines back to health. Each box holds three bottles, stays fresh for six weeks, and produces 90% less CO2 than glass — with Master of Wine Clem Yates on board to ensure every sip punches well above its weight.
