Anciens Temps (Foncalieu) – Anciens Temps Rosé
A cracking lunch at Côte Brasserie in Henley-on-Thames was accompanied by a very affordable glass of pink from the Languedoc. No rudeness intended – but this simple style of rosé would once have been called Vin Ordinaire. Not an insult, just an indication of a wine cultured in sunny French climes offering reliable quality and consistency. This Anciens Temps pink is based on Cinsault- a sturdy ‘workhorse’ grape variety with plenty of character.

About this Vineyard
Anciens Temps is produced by Les Vignobles Foncalieu, a cooperative of over 800 winegrowers in the heart of the Languedoc – one of the largest producers and exporters of French wines from the south.
