HUN Wines – HUN Rose

Let’s recapture some summer magic on a dreary November day with this stylish Wine in a Can from Hun. The message is definitely not in a bottle- the aim is to underline the good reasons to drink canned. This fresh, clean pink is sourced from South Africa’s Western Cape by the brand owners, who are London based. People involved in this imaginative project include F1 legend David Coulthard, ex BrewDog CEO Andy Shaw and Waitrose executive James Bailey. So this pink is Fairtrade, vegan and the can is planet friendly. Is the wine good to drink? It certainly is. Amber glints (if you transfer to a glass, which I recommend!) and delicate cranberry notes on the palate. Refreshing. Try with a winter coleslaw salad including red cabbage and a good handful of pecans.

About this Vineyard

Their pale rose is crafted in a Provence style from cool-climate South African grapes, brimming with summer cherry and fragrant blossom notes. Vegan-friendly and sustainably packaged, HUN is proof that great wine does not need a glass bottle.
