Calmel & Joseph – Villa Blanche Grenache Rose

A simple label in shades of black and white. A simple blend in shades of grey .. and black. Grenache Gris and Grenache Noir in joyous Languedoc partnership. A wine with subtle fruit and overtones of anise and Turkish delight. Not sweet at all, but fragrant, spicy. Sip in the shade, with a bowl of sweetmeats to hand.

About this Vineyard

Founded by oenologist Laurent Calmel and Jerome Joseph, this Languedoc trading house has built deep personal relationships with growers across the region’s many appellations, with evidence of vines cultivated on their own estate dating back to the 16th century. Their Villa Blanche range – built on the three pillars of Expertise, Enchantment, and Elegance – showcases the extraordinary diversity of single-varietal wines from the Pays d’Oc, crafted with meticulous blending and no weed killer in the vineyards. It is accessible, authentic Languedoc winemaking at its best.
