Chateau d’Esclans – Whispering Angel Rose
To quote Sacha Lichine, creator of this famous rosé – ‘the lifestyle of Provence epitomises pleasure’. And, of course, pink wines do bring pleasure to all our senses. From the popping of the cork, to the glow of the wine in the glass, the aromas of fruit and flowers and finally the smooth sensation as we sip the wine, there’s much pleasure to be had! This wine has a roseate flush with a scent of peonies and apricots. Skilled winemaking ensures excellent balance on the palate and a soft, full finish. It’s popular with good reason: a marriage of craftsmanship with superb grapes and climate. Enjoy.

About this Vineyard
Chateau d’Esclans is the estate that launched a thousand rose obsessions. Acquired by Sacha Lichine, who brought in retired Mouton Rothschild winemaker Patrick Leon, this Provence property in La Motte-en-Provence ignited what many call the ‘Rose Renaissance.’ Now majority-owned by LVMH and with Patrick’s son Bertrand leading the winemaking team, the estate’s portfolio — from the wildly popular Whispering Angel to the top-tier Garrus, made from vines up to 100 years old — is sold in over 100 countries.
