Vina Albali (Felix Solis) – Rosado Tempranillo 2022

A very lighthearted pink if you want some easy drinking this weekend- dare I say it- this is the sangria of rosé? From the scorching region of Valdepenas to the south of La Mancha, this simple wine is fruit driven and would be best served well chilled – with some salted Spanish almonds or spicy olives. Viene la primavera! I award this wine 15.5 points.

About this Vineyard

Vina Albali is Spain’s best-selling wine brand in large food stores, produced by the family-owned Felix Solis Avantis group from their winery in the sun-baked plains of Valdepenas in Castilla-La Mancha. Named after the brightest star in Aquarius – because founder Felix Solis wanted to capture the pleasure-loving spirit of the Spanish people – the brand is now exported to over 115 countries across five continents. Built, the winery houses one of Spain’s most ambitious barrel-ageing cellars with capacity for 130,000 barrels in a fully automated, temperature-controlled environment, and the range centres on elegant Tempranillo at every level from young to Gran Reserva.
