The Hidden Sea – The Hidden Sea Rose
Try this combination on for size – a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay …. In a rosé… only those cheeky Australians could get away with it. And they do – by deploying the saignée method of elegant colour extraction after the crush. This little strawberry and cream confection is extremely palatable. And even better- for each bottle purchased 10 plastic bottles are cleared from our cluttered oceans.

About this Vineyard
The Hidden Sea is the brilliant creation of Richie Vandenberg, a fourth-generation grape grower and former professional footballer who also happens to hold a degree in environmental engineering, and his business partner Justin Moran. Founded in South Australia’s Coonawarra over a decade ago, the brand removes the equivalent of ten plastic bottles from the ocean for every wine bottle sold, working with Denmark’s ReSea Project in Indonesia. As of, they have removed the equivalent of 26 million plastic bottles, and they’re ambitiously gunning for one billion by 2030.
