Sylvain et Christophe Le Naour – Les Saints Amants Bergerac Rose

At the weekly market in mediaeval Eymet, Dordogne. Great local Bergerac pink redolent of cranberry with a smoked trout galette – and a vintage cap from a stall.

About this Vineyard

Chateau Les Saints-Amants is a family affair spanning four generations in the village of Sainte-Eulalie-d’Eymet in the southern Perigord, where father Christophe and son Sylvain Le Naour lovingly tend 40 hectares of vines under the Bergerac appellation. For 80 years, the Le Naour family have been bringing grapes to the cellar, and the latest generation has embraced organic certification (Agriculture Biologique), cultivating their vines and raising sheep on the meadows in true polyculture harmony with nature. It’s a thoroughly authentic domaine that embodies the quiet, terroir-driven spirit of South West France.
