About this Vineyard

Mlle Ladubay is part of the historic Bouvet-Ladubay house, founded in 1851 by 23-year-old Etienne Bouvet and his wife Celestine Ladubay in the cellars beneath the ruins of St Florent Abbey in Saumur. Over 170 years later, the house remains the leading producer of methode traditionnelle sparkling wine in Saumur, sourcing predominantly Chenin Blanc alongside Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc from around 100 partner growers across 700 hectares. Their Cremant de Loire Rose is an elegant expression of the Loire Valley’s sparkling tradition, with all the finesse you would expect from a house with nearly two centuries of bubbles behind it.
