M. Chapoutier
From the classic house of Chapoutier, this distinguished pink is the quintessence of Provence rosé. Its subtle blend of Grenache and Syrah brings wild strawberry on the palate, with hints of pot pourri and citrus on the finish. A wonderful pair for scallops, crab or light chicken dishes. I award this wine 18 points.

About this Vineyard
M. Chapoutier traces its roots to 1808 in the village of Tain l’Hermitage in the Northern Rhone, though it was the visionary Marius Chapoutier who first vinified his own grapes and built the winery at the base of the legendary Hermitage hill. Today, under the dynamic leadership of Michel Chapoutier — who took charge aged just 26 in 1990 and converted the entire estate to biodynamic farming — M. Chapoutier has become the most awarded winery in the world, with more 100-point Robert Parker scores than any other producer. Their Marius Rose, named in honour of that pioneering great-grandfather, is a gorgeous pressed Grenache-Syrah blend that carries the warmth and generosity of the south of France.
