Laurette – Laurette Rose
Another dull but warm day – sunshine required! So I opened a bottle of this cheerful Languedoc pink from – it undoubtedly did the trick to transport me to sunnier climes. There is warm fruit on the palate- nectarine and pomegranate- then a rounded and full finish. Just the job with my homemade tuna fish cake for lunch. I award it 17.5 points.

About this Vineyard
La Petite Laurette du Midi is a charming Pays d’Oc rose from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France, typically blending Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah under the care of winemakers Jean-Pierre Driey and Virginie Berthuit. It is a light, dry, easy-drinking pink that captures the warmth and generosity of the Midi at a very approachable price point. Available across numerous vintages and stocked widely in the UK, it is a reliable staple for anyone seeking simple French rose pleasure.
