Grant Burge – B. INK South Australia Rose 2022
A tasty and slightly savoury pink to accompany my mozzarella and tomato sandwich this blustery day. The lovely paint splattered label charmed me as it reminds me of the Rosé Report logo – thanks, Grant Burge! There is cranberry fruit here on the nose and palate, with a crisp and fresh finish. Just the job with grilled shrimp- those fortunate South Australians who make it are probably enjoying some at the beach this time of year… I award this wine 16.5 points.

About this Vineyard
Grant Burge is a cornerstone of Australia’s Barossa Valley, established by fifth-generation vigneron Grant Burge, whose family has been farming in the Barossa. The estate’s 356 hectares include some extraordinary old vines — the fruit for the flagship Meshach Shiraz comes from vines dating back generations, and the Abednego GSM blend draws on vines averaging 110 years old. Chief Winemaker Craig Stansborough, a Southern Barossa native who joined, continues to craft wines that celebrate the depth and character of this iconic Australian region.
