Gordon Ramsay Wines
How stylish of Gordon Ramsay to pair with an Italian winemaker and create a decidedly versatile Rosato at an excellent price point. This crisp wine owes some of its cool charm to a twist of Tuscan Vermentino – and the satisfying finish to Abruzzo Sangiovese. A well assembled dish indeed. It’s a pretty pale tangerine colour to cheer your January table – try with a satisfying salad like this combination of tuna with chickpeas, parsley and fresh basil. I award it 16.5 points.

About this Vineyard
Gordon Ramsay’s wine ventures pair his legendary palate with serious winemaking talent. His Italian collection, launched in partnership with Benchmark Drinks and the acclaimed winemaker Alberto Antonini, includes the Elegante Rosato — an enchanting blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Merlot sourced from Tuscany and Abruzzo. His Californian range, meanwhile, is crafted with Master Sommelier Chris Miller at Seabold Cellars in Monterey, using hand-harvested, organically-practised grapes from coastal vineyards.
