Famille Perrin – Arc du Soleil Rose
A Deco dress – and a Deco label for this chic pink from the exotic Camargue in the south of France. It’s a region famed for wild horses- and wild people! A world away from the Riviera. Yet, because it’s made by Famille Perrin, this wine has links to lovely Miraval and a certain Brad Pitt. So, this long weekend why not dash to and chill a few bottles to share with friends? it’s terrific value and has a whiff of salt and sea to tickle your palate. I award it 17 points.

About this Vineyard
Famille Perrin is the illustrious clan behind Chateau de Beaucastel, one of the most revered estates in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, where the family has been making wine. Now in its fourth and fifth generations, the Perrins were organic pioneers — practising organic viticulture and introducing biodynamic methods, decades before it became fashionable. Their portfolio stretches from the southern Rhone to Provence (including Miraval) and California’s Tablas Creek, making them one of the most influential wine families in the world.
