Esprit de Buganay – Esprit de Buganay Rose

Like its stylish and minimalist label, this wine does not shout in the glass. It is a subtle but very appealing rosé with all the good characteristics of a typical Provençal pink and a notably smooth and dry finish. Alongside the classic local varieties – Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah – there is a smidgeon of Cabernet Sauvignon which definitely adds a touch of class and depth. It would pair wonderfully with bouillabaisse, that heavenly fish soup of the region. Or try it with chilli crab linguini – it has quite enough oomph to handle a touch of heat on the palate.

About this Vineyard

Esprit de Buganay is a Cotes de Provence rose produced by Gilardi from vineyards on the inland side of the Maures mountains, which separate the warm central valleys from the glamorous beaches of Saint-Tropez and Saint-Raphael. A classic Provencal blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah, the grapes are picked early in the cool of the morning and gently pressed to achieve that signature pale petal-pink hue.
