Emiliana – Adobe Organic Rose
It’s chilly, so I crave Cabernet Sauvignon at this time of year. Or – it’s Chile, so I crave its Cabernet! And here it is in delicious organic form, with Syrah to boot. And a truly satisfying pink to accompany even the heartiest fare. Elderberry here for sure, with a certain spicy warmth at the finish, from Don’t be fooled by the label (the symbol of organic production)- this is not The Chicken Wine! I award it 18 points. A fun choice for Valentine’s Day?

About this Vineyard
Emiliana is the world’s largest organic winery, a Chilean pioneer that began its conversion to organic production and today manages nearly 1,000 hectares of certified organic vineyards across some of Chile’s finest sites, from Casablanca to Bio-Bio. It was the first winery in Latin America to achieve biodynamic certification and the first Chilean winery to earn Regenerative Organic Certification — the highest standard of sustainable agriculture in the world. Their Adobe Reserva Rose, from the Rapel Valley, is a joyful expression of what ethical winemaking can taste like.
