E. Guigal

Take a look at this stylish corkscrew – ain’t it lovely? And functional. But – sadly – almost 30% of drinkers under 24 don’t own one, or know to use it, according to research published today. The name on that cork is a top quality producer in the south of France. They use real cork for a reason: to maintain the quality of their wines and allow for optimal ageing. Don’t we all want that?!

About this Vineyard

E. Guigal is one of the Rhone Valley’s most legendary names, founded by Etienne Guigal in Ampuis, the historic home of Cote-Rotie. The family are the only winery in the Rhone with their own cooperage, hand-crafting around 800 barrels a year at the magnificent Chateau d’Ampuis, a Renaissance palace and French National Monument on the banks of the Rhone.
