Condesa de Flores – Condesa de Flores Cava Rosado

It’s beginning to look a lot like autumn out there- so a cheerful glass of Cava is on the cards. For less than £7 you can acquire this eminently drinkable and fruit filled fizz. Remember that Cava is made by the Traditional Method as used for Champagne so it’s a tremendous bargain, guaranteed to dispel any seasonal blues! I award it 16.5 points.

About this Vineyard

Condesa de Flores is a Cava brand produced by Codorniu, one of Spain’s most historic sparkling wine houses, whose roots stretch all the way back generations in the Penedes region of Catalonia. Codorniu was the very first producer of Cava, using the traditional method to create sparkling wines that are aged in vast natural caves beneath the winery. The Condesa de Flores Rosado is a cheerful blend of Trepat, Monastrell, and Garnacha — great value fizz with real Spanish character.
