Chateau Jaubertie

Looking for great local rosé in the old quarter of lovely Bergerac – I know and love – will keep you posted on new finds!

About this Vineyard

Chateau de la Jaubertie is a family-owned organic estate in the Bergerac appellation, just 12 kilometres south of the town itself, with a history that reads like a novel – this former hunting lodge of Henri IV was later embellished by Leon Beylet, the personal physician of Marie Antoinette. The wine estate was founded and today covers 52 hectares of vineyards on limestone and clay soils, producing authentic AOC Bergerac reds, whites, and roses. With modern stainless steel vats standing alongside oak barrels in the cellars, it is a place where centuries of history meet contemporary winemaking.
