Aldi (Sainte Victoire label) – Sainte Victoire Cotes de Provence Rose

Sampling excellent Sainte Victoire rosé in the Portloe sunshine. This wine has much of the subtlety of its famed winged rival – at a very competitive price. There is fresh berry fruit, a delicate apricot tint in the glass and a rounded finish. A credit to its Provençal roots. I award it 17.5 points.
