The Uncommon – Bubbly Rose Wine (Eleanor)
Alternate formats for wine are big news.
46% of wine’s carbon footprint is due to the use of glass bottles, a recent study found.
So, this Friday let’s sample one that is proudly presenting itself in stylish cans. And it’s English, so has not travelled far to find me.
At only 11.5% alcohol this “Bubbly Rosé” makes for a refreshing start to your weekend. A hint of wild strawberry on the nose, a crisp bite on the palate. This is a great use of English Pinot Noir and fits the modern zeitgeist admirably.
Feel free to suggest pink wines you might like me to review in Comments. Would love to hear from you.

About this Vineyard
The Uncommon shook up the English wine scene with a novel concept: premium English wine in a can. Their Bubbly Rose, affectionately nicknamed ‘Eleanor’, is made from hand-harvested Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grown sustainably on the Kent Downs in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with additional fruit from Hampshire and Surrey vineyards.
